What are the common fixing methods of EPS building modules

Today, I would like to introduce the common fixing methods of EPS building modules

With the development of the construction market, THE usage and application scope of EPS building modules are becoming more and more extensive. As EPS building modules are not only a new type of thermal insulation material but also a new type of fireproof material, they are now favored by builders.

Since EPS building modules are not mixed like traditional building materials, and EPS building modules are installed on site, how are the commonly used EPS building modules fixed?

In fact, there are two common ways to fix EPS building modules. Next, Shouguang Huineng New Materials Co., Ltd. will introduce them to you.

I. Stick method: first coat the whole back of EPS building module with mixed mortar adhesive, and then keep the special plaster at a 45 degree Angle with the board surface. Compress EPS building module, and scrape the excess mixed mortar adhesive between teeth, leaving several adhesive tapes with a width of 1cm, a thickness of 1.3cm, and a distance of 1.8cm. EPS building module is installed on the wall, and the tape is parallel to the height of the wall. Slicing method is suitable for smooth walls.

Ii. Point adhesion method: plaster plaster is used around EPS building modules, trapezoidal banded mortar binding material is used, with an average width of 5 cm and a thickness of 0.5-1 cm. The average thickness depends on the smoothness of the wall. At the same time, the coating thickness is 0.5-1 cm, and the diameter is 10 cm 6 or 8 points. It's evenly distributed in the middle of the plate. Considering wind load, stability coefficient and uncertainty of field construction, the bonding area ratio between mixed mortar and EPS building modules is greater than 40%. The point bonding method is suitable for walls with poor smoothness.

So far, two methods of pasting EPS building blocks have been introduced. It should also be noted that the sides of EPS building modules should not be coated with adhesive either in the paste method or in the paste method. EPS building modules coated with mixed mortar need to be attached to the walls and slide into place as soon as possible. To prevent the surface crust of mixed mortar from losing its bonding effect.
